Latest report on CLOSER LOOK AT THE GIGABYTE T1125N CONVERTIBLE NETBOOK: Long before the advent of slate, such as tablet computers, there was a category called convertible laptops or netvertibles. These machines wore a touchscreen display that folds down over the keyboard for use in tablet mode.
Most major PC makers have launched at least one covertible tablet-style netbook. Gigabyte, for instance, has launched plans to launch and much more.
The latest convertible from Gigabyte is the 11.6-inch T1125N. It is powered by an Intel Core i3 or i5 processor and NVIDIA GeForce 310M discrete graphics card with 512 MB of video memory and Optimus technology. The laptop has a! USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports, eSATA, VGA, 4-in-1 card reader and a slot for the docking station, which will house a DVD burner. Other features include Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, and a 3.5G module.
Gigabyte is planning to launch in time for the holidays T1125N. No word on pricing at the moment, but Gigabyte is not exactly known for launching low cost laptops.
